Every summer, the libraries present a two-month-long Summer Reading Program for children and teens. Young readers keep track of the books they read in order to receive certificates of achievement and reading rewards. Each library presents a variety of age-appropriate programs based on the Summer Reading theme for that year. The program is free and open to all preschool and school-aged children. Registration is required, and a minimum number of books must be read to complete the program.
