Bringing the Library to our Community<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n Outreach Services are Services for Library Patrons with Special Needs. Outreach Services offer:<\/p>\n Audio players for the blind. These players and accessories are provided through the Mississippi Library Commission in Jackson at no charge to qualified patrons. MLC also offers accessories such as: Tone Arm Clip, Headphones, Extension Levers, Solar-panel battery chargers, and Pillowphones. Breath Switches are available for severely physically disabled readers who have little or no use of their extremities.<\/p>\n These services are postage-free. All equipment and materials are sent directly to the patron\u2019s home with return mailing labels.
