Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Library is a nonprofit group working for the benefit and enhancement of Library services. Library friends do for the Library what individuals do for one another: they come forth with ideas, time, advice, encouragement, and financial support.

While working independently, but in concert with Library staff and other volunteers, the Friends help raise funds, promote services, serve in a PR capacity, and act as an organized support group. Membership is open to individuals, families, and organizations who actively or through dues alone wish to acknowledge the positive role the Public Library plays in the community.

Each Harrison County Library has its own Friends group, in conjunction with its branches. Your support will make a difference.
